Dr. Dorothy "Dot" Izmirlian, D.O.
Medical Director
Dr. Dorothy Izmirlian, D.O., is an experienced osteopathic physician with a long-standing career in women’s health and addiction recovery. She graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992 and completed her internship and residency training at Suburban General Hospital.
From 1996 to 2015, Dr. Izmirlian practiced obstetrics and gynecology in private practice in Sarasota, Florida, where she provided comprehensive care to women across all stages of life. Alongside her OB/GYN work, she developed a strong commitment to addressing opioid addiction, dedicating the past 15 years to supporting patients through neuropsychological recovery and treatment.
Building on this dual expertise in clinical care and addiction recovery, Dr. Izmirlian is now embarking on a new chapter as Medical Director and primary care provider at Orenda Health & Wellness, where she aims to expand innovative approaches to healing and patient-centered care.
Lori Nikolic, PA-C
Assistant Medical Director
Lori Nikolic is a Physician Assistant and Assistant Medical Director at Orenda Health & Wellness, bringing over 22 years of clinical experience and a PhD in Integrative Medicine to her work. She specializes in whole-person care for individuals living with or at risk for HIV, blending traditional medical care with evidence-based integrative therapies.
Her approach is rooted in treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—while creating a space where patients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. Lori partners with each individual to align care with their unique needs and wellness goals.
Whether focused on HIV prevention, supporting newly diagnosed patients, or managing long-term care, she provides a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment that promotes both clinical outcomes and overall well-being. Her philosophy extends beyond treatment to emphasize resilience, longevity, and quality of life.
Lori believes healthcare should be personal, empowering, and holistic, and she is honored to walk alongside her patients as their primary care provider on their journey to optimal health.
