Sexual Health Testing Appointments
STD testing appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
If you have recently been exposed to an STD or need an appointment outside these hours, please call our office at (941) 424-0388. We may be able to expedite or accommodate your appointment based on availability and your individual circumstances.

No symptoms does not always mean no STD
Many STDs can have mild symptoms or no symptoms at all. Testing can help you get clear information so you know your next steps.
- Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing: $150
- Includes an HIV test at no additional cost.
Most results are available the same day, typically within 30 mins.
Appointments include time to review your results, answer your questions, and discuss next steps.
Additional follow-up with a medical provider may be recommended, based on your results.

PrEP is a medication used to help prevent the spread of HIV. Through our telemedicine partner platform, eligible patients can connect with a provider and learn about their PrEP options remotely.

Do I need symptoms to get tested?
What is a Baseline Test?
Think of a baseline screening as your sexual health’s annual physical routine. It is a simple way to check in on your sexual health. It’s a good idea before becoming intimate with a new partner or when returning to sexual activity after a break, so you can move forward with greater peace of mind.
How much does testing cost?

How long does testing take?
Most visits take 20–30 minutes, including your results and time to ask questions.

HIV testing through Orenda Health & Wellness is free and confidential.
What is the difference between PrEP and PEP?
PrEP is ongoing HIV prevention for people who are HIV negative. PEP is medication that can help prevent HIV after a possible exposure if started within 72 hours.

Yes. Sexual health visits, testing, and prevention conversations are handled as private health information under HIPAA.
